Reasons why I love the Internet #s 1187846-1187848

1. There is honest-to-goodness The Cutting Edge fanfic here! And now I want to watch the movie again.
2. Even though I won't be getting my Green Wing season 2 DVDs until sometime well after September 4th I will still be able to watch it starting in five minutes! And it's only been a couple of hours since I watched the season 1 finale and the OMG!

First reaction? Coma and amnesia, isn't this a bit overkill? But at the same time, they actually went there in the season 1 finale, so I'm happily along for the ride. Besides, clichéd or not, it was still funny (unlike certain coma babies I could mention, which wasn't even played for laughs).

They'll go a LOT further before the season's out.

I think the premiere wasn't that well received overall, and I thought it was a bit off myself. The "dream sequence"-type stuff didn't come off that well (I thought it wasn't the show's style at all, although I remember Martin's dancing test, which was a good dream sequence). The season gets better and funnier, though. It's much more plotty than the first.

Is it possible to go further than they did in the first season finale? Wow, I'm pretty much speechless at the mere thought.

I think that if they'd stuck with just the first dream sequence it wouldn't have felt quite as off. But the inbetween bits were up to par.

Reading that made me want to make icons so bad. But I have so much stuff to watch, too, so now I'm all conflicted.

Oh man, it's like a trainwreck. How can someone do so much that completely wrong in such a short time? From everything she says, to how she says it, to how she looks while saying it.

I just found it by accident, link-hopping. I can't believe there isn't more Cutting Edge fanfic out there, but I guess not, huh?
