Seriously? You watched Lois & Clark, too? How nifty is that? Alas, I already have the DVDs. I should've waited and gotten it on sale, but I have no temperance.

Oh, I've pretty much watched everything. At least once. Except for Smallville. Couldn't even make it through one episode of it. So very very bad.

My Internet connection is my lifeline, so it's good that it's fast or I'd probably die.

How much do I hate sarkastic for pointing that out to me? I had just blown all my money on the VM and AD DVDs, but then proceeded to disprove the first part of this sentence by scrounging up some more money and buying TWW S1 and 2. But they were so CHEAP, I couldn't help myself. Come Oct. 20, I'm going to have a really big package from Amazon. Oh, TV.

I know what you mean about the spending money thing. I've bought so many DVD sets that I'm starting to have trouble finding space for them. Fortunately, the sale was pretty much packed with stuff I already have. The only other thing I wanted except for Lois & Clark was Without a Trace, and I'd rather buy that over here since I won't have to pay import costs. It's bound to go on sale here sooner or later.

Seeing all those dvds on sales just means one thing. I have to win the lottery tomorrow. I think $250 million will buy me what I need and want. At least I hope so. My wish list has about 115 box sets on it.

That Logan screen cap thing was the best. And so true about Duncan. I have seen Borg with more expressions.

Well, some of them were extremely cheap. So cheap that a lottery win would probably be overkill. Finding 100 bucks on the street should do the trick. ;-)

I adore picspams. Even more so when they involve one of my favorite characters.

But I still want to win the lottery. If only a couple of numbers worth, so I could get a couple thousand dollars. I want to upgrade my computer so that it can download really fast like yours does. The term "glacial" applies to mine most of the time.

Oh man, I feel your pain. Just having to wait for it to be shipped here is painful enough. And I hate baseball for taking AD away from us.

The Duncan picspam is brilliant. And boring. And brief. Basically anything that starts with a b. =)

Also, I got tired of talking about rewatching Felicity and never getting around to it because the DVDs are apparently never going to be on sale, so I set about "obtaining" the episodes in another way. I started with season 2, and DUDE! Average speed: 143 kB/s. Right now: 198 kB/s. I do adore my Internet connection.

198 kB/s!? Wow, sometimes bittorrent is actually efficient! Who knew?

BitTorrent has always been good to me, but large files have usually been the exception. Not anymore! Right now: 241 kB/s.

do you know if you had to do any special tweakig to get it to run efiiently for you? mine sucks so much hardcoreness that i can't remember the last time any one single torrent crept above 5k/s for more than a minute or two.

The only thing I make sure of is that I limit the upload speed to around 70% of my top upload speed. That seems to be optimal for me, though I've heard 80% is better for others.

As far as I know, some people can have abysmal download speeds with one client and then they switch to another client and their downloads are super fast. I think torrents are a total crapshoot, actually, so I'm just glad I'm one of the lucky ones.
