Because I am a weak, weak thing, I am going to ask you where I'd find the clip of who is at the door. I'm not necessarily going to download it, or watch it, but I'd just like to be able to if the need gets that great. *g*
The entry I got it from is flocked, but the original link came from ohnotheydidnt, in this post, to be exact. If the person has already taken it down I can upload it for you.
And I would shy away from reading any comments. I haven't, but I'm guessing there are spoilers. (Not in the first few, though, I checked that much).
Thanks for the link, and the warning! I don't want to read about who it is, but somehow it seems different if it's a case of actually seeing it - I'll get that sense of surprise as I'm watching, not just through reading a comment. Hmm, don't know if that makes sense outside my head, but that's sort of my personal spoiler position. *g*
It's funny you should say that because that was my reasoning behind watching it. I'd rather have seen it in context (though I'm not upset I watched it), but I judged the risk of being spoiled in a random comment to be too great. As long as I see it with my own eyes it somehow feels like it can't be a spoiler.
See, I remember Cassie talking to Thelma away from people and in their room, but I don't remember her doing it in such close proximity to other people. I just found it...weird.
I imagine he could have graduated or left school, but they're certainly not explaining it, are they? It sure doesn't seem like it's a new school year. I mean, at the rate he's growing Cassie's son would be a grown-up if that were the case.
Yeah, I think the mission from God thing is accurate.
I'm definitely going to have rewatch season 1. I haven't seen it since the first time I watched, almost a year ago.
Yeah, Thelma changing clothes is new, she was stuck in that one outfit before, considering how nippy the UK can be the poor girl must be cold a lot of the time. Thelma can move objects and eats almost constantly, it's only touching people that's complicated for her. She does have a nifty trick with going into people's dreams, though
( ... )
Heh, poor ghosty Thelma, catching her death in that drafty castle. =)
considering the UK... we're European like that I always got the impression that the UK was more wary of stuff like that then the rest of Europe, but I guess not, huh? It's just jarring to see it when you're so used to the coyness that's always present in US shows.
where was she when Cassie got pregnant? Good question! I mean, that other girl we saw her kill was dead before she even left the bed she'd slept with him in. Maybe she just wasn't expecting Azazeal to be released or whatever it was that happened in season 1... Oh yeah, I definitely need to rewatch.
The clothes from dead people thing must be new too, right? I'm pretty sure that it's new. As soon as Thelma started explaining it, I thought, "Well, that's a convenient excuse to finally have costume changes for her."
For instance, did Cassie always talk to Thelma openly like that in public? And was Thelma always so adept at manipulating objects around her? I like this show, but there was always something that felt off about it to me (I mean, other than these nonsensical storylines). I feel like they're very willy-nilly about the rules of this universe. I don't mean continuity-wise, I just mean what they choose to explain to us and what they don't. They're so heavy-handed with the exposition when it comes to the fallen angel storylines, but then they just leave it up to us to guess what Thelma and other mystical characters/monsters can or can't do.
Yeah, my first thought was that the actress refused to wear those clownish leggings (or whatever they were) anymore and demanded costume changes.
I'm still somewhat confused about certain things, and it's not a "I don't remember these things from season 1", it's more "I don't think we've ever seen this explained before".
