O'Dannihugh and his towel-- Open Thread.

Sigh.

Steaming water rained down upon Riley's chest, warming his body down to the bone. He ran fingers through his soaked hair, working in a secret blend used to keep his perfect locks.. well.. perfect. As he rinsed off, the 7th year couldn't help but notice the pitter patter of feet tip toeing somewhere in the bathroom.

He glanced over his shoulder ( Read more... )

Zoey was listening to Lavender ramble about something. Five minutes ago, she'd known what it was. Then, of course, she saw Riley.

Come on, everyone knew he was probably one of the top three best looking guys at the school. (In Zoey's opinion, they switched daily)

In typical Ferris fashion, she couldn't keep her mouth shut. Especially since she needed an excuse to be looking at him. "Well, I'll be damned. Riley's giving free shows."

Lavender had been going on and on about how much she was looking forward to throwing an open party this summer instead of a Gryffindor-only party when she stopped beside Zoey.

She looked over and her mouth dropped open slightly, "It would be better if the towel were also gone," she giggled after observing him for a moment.

"You know," the blonde smirked toward Lavender. "It wouldn't be too hard to get rid of it."

The sad thing was, Zoey was seriously contemplating it. She'd always figured him to have a nice ass, anyway. What was a little....research?

Riley couldn't help but feel that sensation.

You know, the sesation when one can just feel a stare seering holes into his back. Yes, that one.

And if he knew anyones seering, burning stare, it was Zoey's.

Slowly, the Head Boy turned to see not one, but two pairs of eyes looking back at him.

Grinning, he gave his most suave wave.

Sally-Anne was leaning against the wall, catching up on some reading. A loud shriek escaped from the girl who was standing a few paces away from her. Sally looked up from her book and peeked down the hall. It took a few seconds for her brain to register exactly what was happening. Her mouth opened up in shock. This was precisely the kind of situation that made the young girl extremely uncomfortable. Sally-Anne could feel her cheeks burning up. She quickly turned her attention back to her book, trying to pretend nothing unusual was happening.

Girls were still giggling down the hall. Sally slowly raised her head, curiosity getting the best of her. She cast a quick glance around herself, making sure no one was watching her. When she was satisfied, she turned her head and looked up at the Slytherin's chest, observing it in a study-like manner. It was the closest she had ever gotten to a bare chest (other than her father's, of course, but that didn't really count), so she decided she would make the most of the situation.

As his bare feet strutted graced over the hall, Riley felt the eyes of his peers following his every move. Needless to say, he loved every minute of it, but did his best to maintain his collected, cool, couldn't-care-less attitude.

However, he did manage to catch a certain set of eyes. The teen nearly grinned.

As he neared, Riley attempted to catch her eyes, and when almost sure he had he tilted his chin up to her-- a 'hey' with no effort.

Thankfully for Sally-Anne, everyone around her had been too distracted by the show to notice her blunt staring. Unfortunately, she had forgotten the main person she had not wanted to be caught by, the one gaze she had been carefully avoiding. When she did finally look up from the Slytherin's chest, she could have sworn he-but he couldn't have-nodded at her.

Sally swallowed hard. Her cheeks flamed up as her heart rate sped up. She clumsily grabbed her book and opened it at a random page, bringing it up to her face. Hiding behind her book, she closed her eyes, kicking herself mentally for having been caught so easily.

He watched her expression quickly change, how she blushed and became awkward so easily.

Raising an eyebrow at her, Riley shook his head, turning away to walk down the hall again with the same confidence as before.

Weird..

Maeve had actually walked past before her brain processed the information that all he was wearing was a towel. To make it worse her first thought once she realised had been "Wow he must be freezing wandering around like that" but then the hormones kicked in and she turned to watch him go, letting out a small wolf whistle and a soft laugh.

It was suprising how much losing points for re-marks and snowball fights had loosened her up.
