Parker arrived relatively early. He never liked late or grand entrances, especially when it meant having everyone turn to watch him arrive.
As soon as he popped up at the given location, however, he was immediately distracted by the decorations and set-up. Riley (or someone) had obviously gone to a great deal of trouble for the occasion, and he turned in place in search of his friend.

Thinking it through in his mind, he decided he didn't have any enemies clever enough to have given a present worth fearing. Answering with nothing more than a shrug, he coughed against the smell of the drink and then took a sip.
It had a rather biting taste to it, but not altogether unpleasant. In fact, it seemed to have a rather good after-taste and after-sensation.
Something close to a tickle only not as annoying, it was more pleasurable than most drinks - enough to distract him from the actual strength of the liquor.
"Here, try it," he told Riley, pushing the bottle toward him.
Riley looked down at the bottle, his lip curling in mild disgust. He hadn't yet tried the substance, but if Parker was worried about enemies it couldn't have been nice.
"Er-.. alright." He gave in, taking the bottle and bringing it to his lips to take a short drink. Pulling it away, Riley stayed silent, giving it time to sit in his mouth before swallowing.
"Hmm.." He grinned, nodding in approval, "Who sent it?"
"Doesn't say, really," he admitted, and then pulled the small tag back out of the discarded wrapping for Riley to see - now that he had already taken a drink.
"A gift from a friend," he read aloud, and then shrugged slightly. "Not doubling over in pain or growing any extra limbs yet, so I'm guessing they meant it literally."
Reaching for the bottle, he took another swig and let it settle before giving a small breath. The effects took a little time to seep in, gradually enough that he failed to notice.
Slinging an arm around Riley's shoulder, he grinned at the other boy. "Now tell me, what do you have planned for the night, hm?"
Laughing, Riley grinned back at his mate, "Well, I-"
He paused, cutting his sentence short when he caught sight of a beautiful girl by the door, beckoning him to come closer. Oh, it was just Gonzales. Either way, she was waving him over and he knew what for. It was almost time.
"Uhh, mate. I gotta go" He informed his friend with a pat on the back, eyes still on the girl, "Your girl wants me."
Smirking, he then made his way over to the doorway.

Pushing down any unwanted reactions to the comment, he chose instead to take another long drink from his bottle and then tear his gaze away for a few moments before giving in and letting it drift back.
