So Chelsey suggested asking Dad to help drive me one way to Hebrew school so that I'd actually be able to go. Being naive, I actually believed that ONE of my parents would care enough about me and my interests to take about 20 minutes out of one day a week to devote to helping their daughter. Well. yeah I can't say I don't see the difference in the way your parents treat you in comparison with Chelsey.
But the way I see it, they are really old, right? Kinda senile... don't really have a clue what is going on...I don't think it's you so much as them not really being on the same planet as you. See, with Chelsey, they were quite a bit younger, in a different state of mind. I find that all parents seem to be going through that state of subconcious neglect.
Oh well, they'll get their cummuppence.

Sometimes you can't rely on anyone to do something for you. You really want the Hebrew school? Find out how to get there by bus/train/carrier pidgeon, and get there. With or without your parents. If you stop worrying about what everyone else is doing, and just do what you have to do, you're bound to feel better about yourself.
