hehehe..... Probably.  But in a silent retreat, I'd end up talking anyway....

.... with my hands......... The Advantages of Sign Language can be awesome sometimes.

(But from Silent Classes, I know I can go 2 hours without uttering a verbal word. BARELY. Which sucks at first when you only know how to do is spell your name)

I have a tendency to convince people I'm mute ^_~ I don't often like talking to random people while I'm at work, so I think some of them started to believe I couldn't [Good Times!]

Ahh Sensei, teach me your secret....

I'm a supervisor, so I don't think I could pull that off. Mind you, I love doing projection shifts which is 7 to 8 hours by myself (only me, my horrible singing, noise blocking glass and my Supernatural playlist FTW!)

Being antisocial helps a lot ^_~ not relating to other people my age is also a 'useful' tool. I wish I knew sign language, that would be awesome! I don't think I'd say a word while I'm outside the house ^_~

I would totally reccommend Sign Language, but it does take a bit of confidence and you need to be willing to feel a bit silly (which is what it feels like for the first few weeks, but when you're in a class full of people being silly....)

I once tried a day of not talking to people when shopping, just signing. Extremely hard to communicate and you get some very strange looks if you forget to take out/off your earphones that are attached to your Ipod, blasting CCR.....
