LotS is fantastic, but only if you don't take it at all seriously. Cara is amazing, and I wish she'd been in it sooner, rather than the overload of Kahlan/Richard as the first season is. I watched it cos I have a deep love of Craig Parker (even without the elf ears...plus he's evil in LotS, bonus) but I ended up loving Cara. Wut.

I've been lusting after Cara in pictures and gifs for MONTHS and I figured it was about time I gave the show another chance because Kahlan/Cara seemed so fantastically slashy. Alas, the slash has not turned out as well as the internet led me to believe but Cara is actually sexier. So... there's a win there.

Watching Craig Parker play the horrendously stereotypical baddie is hilarious, although now when I think of him he's not so much Haldir as That Guy From The Bad Soap Opera That Airs Nightly. Either ways, LOLs are had at him.

I totally skipped season 1, except for the last ep since I knew Cara was in it. (And although I'm taking it about 99 percent non-seriously... I may have gotten slightly teared up in the episode where Cara finds out the truth about her dad.)

Yesss but that's legitimately good. It's an internet consensus that the first few episodes suck but are good for the menfolk and womenfolk, and then it actually has plot and is acted well and is a worthy television show. Sooooo :P
