I dont think your mom is being too protective... She is just being a mommy and looking out for you =] My mom put me on it too and i never even gave her a reason to.. [she did the same thing to my sister when she was my age too] i guess mom's just think too much and dont want anything bad to end up happnen to ya. But its not like birth control is bad.. and its not always used as a contraception. It can be used to treat acne or regulate your period.

I dont think you're mom is going too far. I mean she just wants you to be ready if anything does happen. That way there will be no slip ups. She's just trying to protect your best interest.

I dont think its so much or her not trusting. I think she just wants to protect u. I mean she trust you enough that she'll let u make your own decision and if you dont plan on doing anything then u really dont have anything to worry about!
