Harry was somewhat disappointed that asking for help with his Potions paper was now clearly out of the question. He was rubbish at Potions, and he was sure he always would be. It would be a miracle if he got a high enough grade on his OWL to even take the subject next year.
If there was a next year.
The fact that Hermione had asked a question, or at least he thought it was a question, slowly filtered into his distracted train of thought. "Oh! Yes. Hogsmeade. Brilliant. We definitely should. We're running dangerously low on sweets, and there's studying that needs doing," he said, grinning a little. It was actually kind of miraculous that they were even still allowed to go to Hogsmeade. He had no doubt the Ministry would like to lock them all up in the castle and collect their wands whenever they weren't in class if they could get away with it.
"My mum and dad would throw a fit if they ever set foot in Honeydukes," Hermione said with a smile, briefly thinking about her dentist parents. "Personally, I think a nice glass of Butterbeer will hit the spot."
The talk of sweets finally distracted Ron from his previous train of thought, which Hermione was thankful for. "A nice break from all the madness going on here at school also sounds wonderful. Dealing with Professor Umbridge has gotten quite tedious."
