I am tired of only writing when I have something to bitch about. And I am fascinated with how we scour over old writings full of horrible atrocities. Would we look as closely at a book filled with happy endings and perfect days

But even the premise of this idea still seems cynical. Wouldn't it be better to try to find things that went well in your day, I mean things that happened?

yeah, and if things go well, that will be in there. its a blend of truth, altered truth, and pure fiction. it makes me feel better.

No one's day is full abject misery. Maybe it would be worth your trying to look harder for the good things. I mean like a good sandwich or something.
