I'm hoping to be back by 6:30 at the latest.

classifying go as a Xmas movie.. I donno.. is Die Hard a Xmas movie??

But I agree that (although there are distinct similarities) it's nowhere NEAR a "teeny bopper pulp fiction".. which I've heard it called numerous times

QUIET!

YOU'VE JUST BLOWN MY NUMBER 1

SERIOUSLY...it was going to be funny, but the only way I could have managed it with all X-mas movies and then Die Hard at #1 is if I had watched "It's a Wonderful Life" and liked it or if I made it a top 10 list...I ran out of time for the watching.

I'm glad we agree on that. Calling it Pulp Fiction Jr. is unfair to everyone involved.

Someone once introduced me to Cowboy Bebop, but I couldn't get into it properly. However, I LOVE the theme song ("Tank").

"Go" is a Christmas movie? Hrm. I must watch it again. I've only seen it once a couple years ago, and I remember liking it a lot. It was one of those brilliant screenplays that made me say, "Dammit, I wish I wrote this."

YES I LOVE IT TO! I've wanted to buy a cd by The Seat Belts but have not managed much success...do you have "Tank!" in a form in which I could get it from you over ICQ or some such?

It takes place X-mas eve through to X-mas morning. I agree about the screenplay :)

Amazon.com has a bunch of Cowboy Bebop soundtrack imports, if you're interested (pricey, though). I do have Tank! as an MP3 somewhere but I think the end got cut off. I'll have to check when I get home.
