african greys

i recently adopted a 15 year old african grey. the problem is that he has been attentioned starved and likes to scream. he also bites. i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to how to work with him to make him a loving bird who can be handled and will like people.

i wasn't meaning while he was with you. i totally know you guys didn't attention starve him...at all... this wasn't even meant to be posted on my livejournal. i was trying to post it in a pet community thingy. just to see what anyone had to say...
