Thursday was my parents' 27th wedding anniversary, & the family went to the Black Swan winery for dinner. The food was good, wagyu beef, kurobuta pork, some lamb cooked 3 ways, a 5 hour slow cooked scotch fillet, & some fish dish. Every dish came with a recommended wine, & I had to fight the slight urge to break my May detox.  Didn't help that they

that magician at Deville's was pretty crap if you ask me. Mal and i managed to figure out how he did like THREE of his tricks... that just doesn't do it for me in a magic act. if *i* can figure out how they do something, the mystery is DEFINITELY gone...

I must start loitering around the place more with a visible deck of cards then. Show the manager a couple of tricks, get a job there, steal the stage, & then play some gigs maybe... =P
