No on Prop 8
Okay Californians, apparently the "Yes on Prop 8" campaign has started to pick up some momentum so it's time to get on the old soapbox and remind you to vote NO on Prop 8.

So, you know. Don't vote. Seriously, what could happen? The rest of the world will probably just go on thinking what they do about the US, which coming from someone in that rest of the world, isn't a good thing. -

Slacker Uprising
For those of you in the US and Canada, please download Michael Moore's new movie Slacker Uprising. It's a free download, but because I live in the UK I can't watch it. Wonder Woman!
So I'm a DC reader, but my fave DC girl isn't Wonder Woman. Don't get me wrong, I think she can kick ass and all but she's a bit like Superman. You'd definitely want them on your team in a fight but at the end of the day, you want someone with a bit more depth to them, although the whole thing with Max Lord certainly showed her in a different light ( Read more... ) -
No on Proposition 8
So I'm not into labels. However, I am into basic human rights. I think that one of the most basic human rights that should be afforded to all people is the right to be who you are, and that most certainly involves being able to love who you love. Amazing
There's an ad campaign here in the UK. They have British celebrities in ordinary settings such as a pub or a sporting event and around them life is carrying on. People are drinking. Fans are cheering. They look at the camera and look at the person next to them and say something along the lines of, 'Without them, I wouldn't be here today' or ' ( Read more... )
