I was looking up reference pictures for cosplay when I ran across a fanfic, and I noticed this name for one of the characters:

Miania Poredrana Comastra

it's so typical!! ^_^ fantasy writers are unbelievably prone to these kinds of names... and they're so formulaic!

it makes me giggle.

Ummm...my names are nothing like that. You can't say that fantasy writers do that.

yes I can. names like those are stereotypical fantasy names. fantasy writers are infamous for creating jumbles of consonants, heavy on the vowels, with 'a's everywhere if the character is female. besides... I remember you coming up with some real doozies yourself. and Miniatha Viathelu... yeah, even I did it.

Except mine are realy names. With the exception of Dragliss and Tigress. And those are nothing like what you're saying. I have no "a"s everywhere. You're lumping us all in a stereotype, and it's not true for everyone.
