Some more James/Regulus for stellastars. I'm afraid that Regulus was obviously feeling emo, as there is less frolicking in the snow and more angsting (in the snow). Still, I hope you like it. ♥

They're so beautifully written, honestly. I wish I knew shit about literature so I could give a more informed review, but I don't, so I just get awed by the shiny.

I'm tempted to draw James/Regulus now >_>;

Oh, but that's such a lovely thing for you to say! And I don't know anything about literature either, so I would most likely be all kinds of confused. And you know what to do if there's conflict between James/Sirius and James/Regulus? Just think of the three together. :D

*dissolves into goo* So atmospheric and sparkly, but so brooding too. Poor Regulus not quite able to let go... :(

Winter turns everything into a fairytale: diamonds drip from the trees of the Forbidden Forest, and the snow-covered grounds glitter like stars in the low afternoon sun as they sprawl down to the lake, a frozen mirror that shows more beauty than any evil Queen could command.

And I can't even begin to tell you how much I love that, so I won't try, but I hope you'll take it as read. ♥

Your description of the winter wonderland in the first paragraph was simply gorgeous. I also loved this line He tries not to think of his mother and how he used to be her angel, how she still thinks that he is, and all whilst James tries his best to make him fall. So perfect, really, in saying a lot about Reg's relationships, both with his family and with James. And the ending -- poor James! left out there, alone -- it made my heartache!

I really did intend it to be happy snow-filled fun, but I think Regulus must have been sulking at the thought of being made to lie in the snow or something! I'm going to pretend that Regulus went after him, and they made up in front of the fire. :) ♥

And why are they so emo and horrid to each other? They used to be our happy crack pairing, and now they're just depressed and mean. Poor Reg, and poor James.
