i am a Christian.

i'm ashamed to say i am a Christian. not because im ashamed of Christ, but because im ashamed of myself. i think that if people judge Christians by what they see from me, they would not want a part of it at all. In fact, they might even see it as a curse.

but i still am a Christian.

i feel like i'm the worst person in the world

I know what you mean. I know stereotyping is wrong, but it's hard not to do it. And because I know I do it myself, I know other people can unconsciously do it to me. So I say I am until they ask. Plausible deniable clause? But in any case, I suppose it's best to not be afraid to show off God. If you are afraid, and hide away the Light of God in you, it will never grow. But if you let it shine and take the criticism or praise, and God will protect you and grow in you. Although others don't see you as a perfect Christian, as long as you show you are working strong for God, they will work past their first thought of stereotyping and see their wrongs.

I know exactly how you feel...

let's work on not being ashamed about it, rather knowing that God is above all that and we're merely vessels... poor ugly clay pots that hopefully carry something of worth... something God put in us. And hopefully that's what people will see at some point.
