this is just something i want to say. i just got back from spending ten days in italy and it was amazing. however after visiting the vatican i feel a little weird. it was an interesting place. st peter's basilica was absolutely amazing. the entire building is made of gold, bronze, and marble and the most ornate and elaborate place i have ever been

yo i agree. that's one of the many, many reasons i left the church. although i guess i didn't so much leave it as reject it. religion in general is so fucked up - i'm studying buddhism right now, and i totally used to think it was such a chill, egalitarian religion, but i've since realized that passing off the idea off reincarnation is the easiest possible way you can exploit the poor. same goes for the idea of heaven in christianity.

marcy marc i miss you so! i'm getting sick and school&life are wearing me out, and all i want to do is jet back to bestford and spend time with my favorite people. i'm so jealous of your european adventures. we should skype sometime soooon so you can tell me all about them!
