Keep your pants on. Please keep your pants on.

I can't decide if I should be amused or disturbed by a student coming into my classroom and asking, "Mr. P., can I take off my pants?"

Reason #N why Ike is homeschooled: Inappropriate timing of disrobing.

I thought the primary reason a child would be homeschooled is to learn while still in pajamas. I know I learn better this way.

Should you be amused or disturbed?

Yes.

(Is there more to this story?)

There is a little more to the story, but not much. This student had on PE shorts underneath his pants. On Fridays, students may wear their PE clothes all day. This student was warm and wanted to take off his pants. Since I can understand the desire to remove one's pants, I allowed him to take them off.

Well, it doesn't -sound- like 'pantsless Saturday' - but maybe they are just 'day challenged'?
