when my ex broke up with me, it took me seven long but meaningful years alone before i found my now 27-month boyfriend. During that seven years of being single, I also used to think that i drive people away. That even in my efforts to keep them close, I always end up pushing them back. I guess it's just a phase, a process that we go through as part of moving on.
