Thanks!

I was kinda with you on the strike until I read that post by James Gunn. It really explained the position alot better for the outsider I think. The writers have caved some already and deliberated as much as given possible in an 11 hour meeting on Sunday. But in the end everyone will hurt. He also brings up the fact that these are the same issues that the directors and actors also have and that this first act by the Writers Guild would kinda set the president on how those renegotiations precede. But it is worrysome in every way none the less.

OMG - Tim Riggins is so it man. Just. so. it. And good to know we share in the SPN thoughts - as we usually do. ;)

*hugs*

Becoming Jane! Yes, loved it and James is an unexpected hottie for sure. Have you seen the preview for his new movie with Angelina Jolie? Wanted--it looks like so much mindless fun. He reminds me of Gregory Smith. ;-D

FNL owned last week! The whole 6 week checkup cracked me up and was so true to life. And Tim. Damn. <3

I started reading Black Dagger Brotherhood last week. Despite not really being MY type of vampires (I'm not big on muscles and testosterone-overload) the books are page-turners for sure.

I'm a hopeless slasher. :x I think ever since I saw The Red Hot Chili Peppers video for "Warped" back in the mid 90s, I've been a big fan of the man love. \:D/ Then, of course, came Velvet Goldmine and Queer as Folk. If I can catch up on all the books I have yet to read and movies I have yet to watch, I'll have to look into Chris Owen.

I know. I was totally thinking the same thing with the Gregory Smith angle - weird. But yes, he is yummy and I must picture whore him now ( ... )

I haven't been to Whedonesque since... lalam November 6 2007, 21:31:56 UTC
Buffy ended! I didn't even realize he kept it going. As some of you know, Joss is God in my eyes and TV has been seriously lacking since he hasn't done anything (or any of his minions). Every JW show I've watched has been cancelled!!! Wonderfalls (LOVED LOVED LOVED that show!), Drive (Nathan Fillion, need I say more) Marti Noxon's Still Life never even made it to air! Oh, and Tru Calling... yeah, I watched the marathon on Columbus day. Love me some Eliza Dushku (and not because I know her and she's from Boston and her mom was my Poli Sci professor at Suffolk U. but yeah, that's why.) I've known ED for about 13 years, she was a little one when I first met her and then she did that stupid Arnold Schwartzenegger movie (not stupid, smart) True Lies and she became huge in Boston. But when she ended up on Buffy, I totally had to love her then. Faith was kick ass.

Okay, so enough of my word vomit.

You guys REALLY need to come to Boston so I can introduce you to everyone here. Heck, what's 3 million Irish people? :)

Happy day-late anniversary wishes, Cin. Give my best to Ben, too, and I hope your kid-free evening was okay. I've been too busy here at work to even scratch my own ass, so I've barely kept up with reading all the (strike) media-related online news, let alone found time to post anything of my own.

That said, I've got a meeting to get to before I'm up front screening all day, away from my desk. Gotta motor.
