Has any other community members read True Compass Teddy's Memoir?
While I may be a little biased, I do have to say it was one of the most eloquent memoirs I have read. It was full of sentiment but it wasn't sentimental. There were moments were tears swelled.
I has borrowed it from the library but I think I might save up to buy it.

I thought his insights into the Senate and the changing traditions interesting. I also appreciated it wasn't weighed down with too much personal narration. As much as I love the Kennedy's I also respected he left a lot of events private especially with his first wife Joan. I feel that often the authors try and re-write history, instead I think he respected others privacy.
As I said, I do plan on buying it because it was a beautiful memoir.
