I wish Wesley'd let me keep more pieces of the mirror. I'm the one who cleaned up the mess, after all, and I was going to take every single shard back to that room I've turned into a lab so that I could figure out how it works, but he's sent most of it to Mr. Giles in Sunnydale ( Read more... )

Would the UCLA science department have more of what you need, love?

Charles and I have gotten quite good with the breaking and entering. We're much less break-y now.

Are you kidding? Of course they could. But you and Charles can't sneak an electron microscope out of the building. It's too heavy.

And "break-y"? That sounds ... very Harmony. Only you have a much sexier accent.

And yes, if y'all could sneak me in, that would be wonderful. I'm curious about the structure of this crystal ... it seems similar to quartz, but it's also somewhat like glass--you know how ordinary glass is essentially a very very slow moving liquid? Only this is a crystalline liquid. I think. It's so frustrating.
