As a Texan, I know that thanks to the electoral college system of this country, my voice would not be heard yet again. But I went and I cast my ballot anyway. And yes, I agree. Feeling like I can trust my fellow Americans to make positive, informed decisions is such a foreign feeling to me. But it's still on shaky ground. Like taking back a lover that's cheated on you repeatedly or something.
