there comes a point when you've been doing one certain thing for years and then you can't take it anymore. you need new inspiration, to be healthy again. i don't understand musicians or anyone else who keeps going when their work is sub par, unless there's still hope. i'm not quitting anytime soon, but later on, if i feel a need to keep working, i' ( Read more... )

It's easier to stick in the same rut than it is to change. I think that's where most entertainers (actors and musicians alike) get stuck.

You though have changed, I especially liked your work in 'Dancer in the Dark', so moving, so passionate. I really felt your performance on that one.

entertainers are also prone to ageism too, heh - moreso than um..non-entertainers?

i'm glad you liked me in Dancer in the Dark, i put all my effort into it, something which would have become harder for me to do as a full-fledged actress.
