Hello Jess!

Your application will be stamped on Dec 10th, sometime after 8:00PM EST. :-)

Could you please cut this!

I saw right away that you obviously hadn't read our rules, which means an automatic "no" vote, but I read your application anyway just to get a sense for a future sorting. I just couldn't find anything. I thought Ravenclaw for a while because you had a few pensive moments (JK accurately capturing the adolesence; the comparison of James and Snape to their now opposites, Draco and Harry, respectively); unfortunately, you don't strike me as an overall Ravenclaw.

Hint: When you reapply, answer the question about the "for" and "against" each house with personality traits you have that would make you fit or make you illfitted to each house (for example, tell us why you'd make a good Hufflepuff, and then tell us why you wouldn't make a good Hufflepuff - then do that for all of the houses).

We're a huge stickler about following application rules because first impressions are important. If you're not going to read the rules upon initial application, then how do we know that you are aware of the responsibility of participation for each

It stinks that my first vote is a "No Vibe/No," but you missed all three checkpoints and this application really didn't tell me much about your personality. Like fluxxie said, you missed the purpose of #6 - you're supposed to list reasons why you should and shouldn't be sorted into each house, not the pros and cons of each house, and even your "pros" and "cons" were a little lacking. Not to mention stereotypical - what's your evidence for Hufflepuffs being "dull and not very smart"? And yes, Ravenclaws do more than study - I'm a Ravenclaw, and I'm definitely not known for my excellent study habits. This application has potential. Just read the userinfo and put a little more thought into your answers next time, and I'm sure you could be good here.

Sienna, I already ask her to do so. Apparently, she either does not know how, her LJ is brand new, or she is not reading this. I understand the inconvenience, but let's be somewhat understanding.

And I also want to apologize. We usually don't let the applications through if they don't have a cut because of the problems. But, I saw the phrase, and didn't look well enough. That's my fault, and I apologize.

Hello Jess.

I voted Gryffindor. You are loyal to your friends and family equally. You relate to Ginny. Even though you've both faced hard times that would damage most people, you get back up and keep going with your life. You live through the pain, learn from it, and don't let it stop you. Which is why you like Lupin as well. I think that says a lot ( ... )
