I don't usually read anything that has a non-con warning attached, but for some reason, I just clicked on the first part of "Defiled" and I was instantly hooked. You managed to write all the horrible things in with such finesse that it didn't make me want to scream and run away at all.

And I'm so very glad to see you now continuing the story. Those two deserve at least a little happiness! :-)

That's high praise, indeed . . . thank you so much. I try to handle non-con as realistically and respectfully as possible, without going detail-crazy.

And yes, Bilbo and Thorin deserve happiness. I think they can be very good for each other. Once they actually admit their feelings, that is :)
