Wow. Just . . . wow. I never thought of Nash as being worth much in the scheme of things, but this story puts so much power and grace into his character that I'm truly blown away.
Magnificent job. I almost want a sequel, just to see the relationship develop!
After looking back through like thirty entries, I can't seem to find that request/prompt, either, BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER BECAUSE I AM THRILLED THAT YOU REMEMBERED IT AT ALL. :DDDDDDDDDD
I mean, it was just some silly idea off the top of my head and here you go turning it into this 10K tour de force that's so awesome I can barely wrap my head around it. Like, first of all, I adore the way that, once the Somnacin clears from his system, Nash is all snappy and snarky and completely unapologetic in every off-the-wall thing he says. Goddamn it, bitchy!Nash, I am so in love with you. *________*
And Yusuf is just so sweet and concerned, I want to give him a hug and a thousand gold stars for looking after Nash even though he's a little shit and most assuredly the biggest pain the ass he's ever encountered. Don't get me wrong, I feel horrible for what Nash has been through, but you have to admit, he does wrack the nerves, just a little. TL; DR: OMG YUSUF, SO AWESOME.
I really, really enjoyed not doing my psychology reading reading this piece

You write the best Nash ever, and if my Nash is any good, it's because I'm stealing from the best.
And Yusuf is totally used to dealing with cranky dream junkies. He runs a dream den. Though, yeah, Nash is light years beyond what Yusuf's used to seeing when it comes to dream junkies. Though I think that more than half of what Yusuf is falling in love with is Nash's bitchy, cranky, pain-in-the-ass-ness. And the way he came through six months of hell still in fighting, snarking trim.
But yep, they're both falling hard and fast for someone who's the complete opposite of themselves. Also, Yusuf likes taking care of people, and Nash definitely needs looking after--if only so he doesn't screw himself over quite so much.
Nash has no totem. It really could all be a dream, and he never escaped COBOL's clutches. . . .
Very well done, and a hell of a head trip. I feel bad for Nash, no one deserves that. And I feel like that must be Ariadne helping Yusef. But I'm glad he got out, and I love how adorably befuddeled yet brilliant Yusef is in this one. Very nicely done, milady.
Nash made his bed, and had to lie in it, unfortunately for him. That said, you're right: no one deserves what he had to live through. He deserves a little peace and happiness. He deserves Yusuf--who I think normally isn't befuddled easily, but Nash? Has the inside track on befuddling our favorite Chemist. He does it without even trying. Yusuf's falling head over heels and that's something Nash has never been on the receiving end of. He's never lost his heart, either, so this is doubly trippy for him.

I plan on there being at least a couple more fics in this 'verse. I wanna see their relationship develop, too :)
I don't imagine either of them has ever met, let alone fallen for someone like the other.
