But I just signed up to write 40,000 plus words of SGA by the end of September! (Don't ask me why, I don't know why. I just know I have a bloody awesome idea).
Much as I love all the Stargate incarnations, I have always said that they've pinched/recycled most of their plots/enemies (and guest stars) from Star Trek.
Argh! Dude, that sentence makes me wanna punch a kitten!
Good looking out, though--thank you. Fixed and shined up real purdy--can't believe such a mistake-laden sentence slipped by me. No more crack-smoking for me!
I love Chekov. He was so--spastic and good-natured, especially in the new film. So unlucky in love, in TOS. Both him and Bones, really. And I loved their--brief-chemistry in the new film so much.
Never thought of slashing Chekov before that--Bones/Kirk seemed much more likely (Bones/Spock or Kirk/Spock? Doesn't really work for me . . . unless it's heavy on humor and light on pr0n).
Ah, but Bones--I love that grouchy plain-spokenness, and snarky practicality. If Spock was the voice of reason, Bones was the voice of common sense. Bones rocks :D
I'll betcha House was based more than a little on Bones, lol. Seriously.
I won't punch your kitten, anyway :)
In TOS, Scotty was my second or third fave, alternating with Chekov. I thought Sulu was creepy, and Uhura was annoying and kind of a cock-tease (not that I knew that term when these opinions were formulated). I found Kirk interesting, but not likable, per say. But I liked the way he talked.
I sat the fence about Spock, and still do. Though Zachary Quinto did more to make me like Spock than Leonard Nimoy ever did. One thing I always loved was the comradeship between Spock and Kirk, Spock and Bones, Bones and Kirk, and the three of them. The Three Amigos. I'm a sucker for a good trio of friends.
Ee! New chappie! I shall reread this one before venturing further.
Well, technically it would be a rereread.
I still have not seen the movie, for I am shameful, but I've read some spoilers on it because I really wasn't sure if I wanted to see it. But now I am sure that I will.
If for no other reason than to go "OMG CHEKOV/BONES!!!!"
Love, love, love this. It is so awesome and cute and heading in totally naughty directions. *squee* Bones and Chekov were two of my favorite things about the movie and this is so much happiness for me. I can hardly wait for more.
Btw, you can find some icons here. I'll try and keep my eyeballs peeled for more. *g*
Flailage and lurve? So much for keeping my out-sized ego in check :D
Hee! Bones and Chekov were my favorite things in TOS and the new movie. But in the new movie, Chekov was so sweet and cute (and young), and Bones was so Bones (and hot). I hadda slash 'em. I just hadda.
Naughtiness, indeed. It wouldn't do to underestimate Ensign Chekov. Nope.
"He's up to something, Bones knows, but can't imagine what. Jim Kirk suffers from permanent scoliosis of the mind, and Bones's long since given up trying to straighten him out."

And if by clue-by-four you mean Lips of Chekov, then you are correct, sir!
No idea how long this thing'll be, how long till pr0n of some kind. Probably not very long in either case, lmao.
You could always toss over SGA for Trek. . . .
You know you wanna.
Haha! Rodney vs Bones. McCoy/Shepperd. McKay/Kirk.
CHEKOV/ZELENKA!

Don't you be punching *my* kitten!
Did you see my new kitten?
:)
I like Scotty the most, though Bones was always a close second. He was the *doc* - can't not love the medical guys.

Dude! Have you seen the movie? Your thoughts? OMG, it's been out a month and I shouldn't still be this excited about it.
Drunk!Bones is the funnest Bones of all, what with the crusty attitude and salty language :)
Bones/Chekov may be my new OTP. They're so damned cute!
