Been refreshing the BBC site every hour all day waiting for this:

Michael Obi has been found alive and his abductors are in police custody.So, so relieved for Mikel and his family. I hope he takes some time to go be with them when his father gets back home ( Read more... )

I got all emotional when I heard about this earlier - aw, I'm so pleased he's okay. I can't even begin to imagine what they've all gone through, and Mikel has acted with so much class throughout it all. So pleased!! :)

Mikel has been amazing and his performances on the pitch were just immense. I'm so proud of him, so glad for his family and so thankful that they caught the abductors. Hopefully the authorities will make an example of them so other lowlife scum will stop thinking that trying to ransom someone is a good idea.
