Warning: Man-love ahead!

It's been a hard week (well...month, really) with not a lot to smile about personally, so I'm taking a moment to wallow in the gratuitous Chelsea!love that's been warming my sentimental little heart since Wednesday night.

There are some teams whose players, when things go pear-shaped in a big match, start fighting each other. Then there are teams ( Read more... )

Awww, what a lovely post! It's just made me go all warm and fuzzy! :D

I have to admit, i feared some of the team spirit would leave along with Jose, but I think in a way, it's made it even stronger. I suppose it was silly to think that people would stop liking each other just because their manager had gone, but i wasn't really thinking rationally back then ;) But yeah, i love it, and they really do all seem closer than ever, and it shows that it's not only the big name players who deserve all the praise ;)

I don't think i'll ever be able to truly like Grant even if he wins the quadruple this season, but i do kind of respect the way he's kept everything going and the way he's been getting the results. My dislike doesn't have much to do with his managing ability ;)

I adore your icon btw - everyone has to love Ricky! :D

Hee, I have been having a severe warm fuzzies attack for weeks, and the Wigan match just made it worse!

The thing about Grant is that he hasn't actually changed anything, so in a funny sort of way you could say it's like Jose is still doing the work. Or maybe Steve Clarke! But I'm not going to waste energy being upset by how Grant ended up in charge or by his (lack of?) personality; I'm just going to be glad that the boys know how to carry on no matter what and keep wallowing in the love along the way. XD

Riccy is made of win, and Urine Rennie should be kicked in the face after booking him for that beautifully timed tackle on Saturday.
