I love Tezuka's niece, I love Fuji's self-sacrificial nature that is tinged with his own selfish amusement, I love how Tezuka's father is intuitive and knows.

He waxes his legs and arms and does all kinds of unspeakable things with a tweezer and studies the alchemy of eyeliner, lipstick and nail polish.

Hell yes. Ever since I've come to VJ I've been studying the alchemy of tweezers and nail polish too, though not eyeliner, and not lipstick (I use gloss, and only for cracked lips).
