A number of embarrassing things:

1. I got robbed in Spain last weekend in the most trite manner. It was straight out of the manual: crowded train, a pair of pickpockets, stepping on my foot as distraction, a jacket over my bag as cover, wallet gone in 30 seconds.

ah, unfortunately, i was there the weekend before dia de los muertos :( it would've been such a sight! pity!!

i think i will cry if i ever lost my passport and wallet in a foreign country. :/ glad things worked out in the end for you!

actually, i ALMOST cried, but i was more angry (with myself for getting tricked) than sad so i ended up fuming instead of tearing haha.
