yeah he's one of the most quotable people too. this is one of my favourites:
What if some day or night a demon were to steal after you into your loneliest loneliness and say to you, "This life as you now live it and have lived it, you will have to live once more and innumerable times more; and there will be nothing new in it, but every pain and every joy and every thought and sigh and everything immeasurably small or great in your life must return to you, all in the same succession and sequence-even this spider and this moonlight between the trees, and even this moment and I myself. The eternal hourglass of existence is turned upside down again and again, and you with it, a speck of dust!" Would you not throw yourself down and gnash your teeth and curse the demon who spoke thus? Or have you once experienced a tremendous moment when you would have answered him, "You are a god, and never have I heard anything more divine."
i haven't read the gay science yet. i've only just started on thus spoke zarathustra. nietzche is definitely most quotable and controversial. why the emoness?
i have a sleepover with 2 friends on thursday just to finish writing our group project, like one long extended group meeting through the dead of the night! the workload is disgusting.
hey tell me when you get your uni postings! i hope you get into nus :D
why! actually in all honesty i doubt i'll be able to get into any local uni. but hell, it's worth the try right? oh gosh, it sounds like hell. though usually a stayover involves 3/4 of the time talking and distraction as compared to the intended full on mugging/working. when the posting is out, i'll tell you if i even get posted then. :D
