Dasha is very much looking forward to Octeday, as am I. I think I'll ask her Ladyship, and maybe even the girls, if anyone has a simple dress I could borrow, it probably won't do to show up at a party looking like I belong by a campfire in the woods. The party will be a nice sendoff for us wolves. Of course we won't be able to stay very late, since the earlier we start out the next morning, the better our chances of getting out of the worst of the snowdrifts by nightfall. And Dasha is worried about the cubs; any way we take, it'll be a long journey back to Ankh-Morpork.

And I'm glad you'll still be there for the party; my nephew Pako is looking forward to playing with the cubs again.
Gods, I will miss them! Anf to think that four or five weeks ago, I thought I hated all werewolves, because of Paavo.
