Not guarani related, but consider reading "At the Tomb of the Inflatable Pig."
I was in Paraguay in 1996 & had a great experience. The culture is very different & intriguing (sp?). We were one of the last projects that was able to go to Iguazu falls for either midterm or debriefing.
dude. i met your project staff at my supervisor training this past week and they are all really awesome---super energetic and bound to infect you with their huge amounts of paraguay pride--haha. have an awesome awesome time: i've only heard amazing things about the place.
oh...after listening to stories there is one thing i've learned: when going to paraguay: bring warm clothes. haha. oh and look at google in language options coz you can search in guarani! pretty damn cool..even though i dont know why'd you want to. haha. have fun. chao
