I have to go out and see my friend like right now and I am so sad I am not going to read this right away instead. So sad I kind of want to cancel on her and be like "Hey, yo, see you in December!" But that would be kind of unkind.

But I reaaaaaally want to.

It's a little after 5 in the morning, I had to wait 10 hours to get to read this, basically. It's always worth the wait. I never want to wait for more though... And now I have to endure that all over again.

Frankly, there are too many details in this one right now for me to go through and quote them all, because I am so close to falling asleep typing this out. But all the little times Luke catches Reid's eyes going over him, and the little smiles, and the innuendo, and Reid's parents (really broke my heart), and Luke telling Victoria he's gay and her non-reaction, and Jude and Lukas! And that Luke is basically writing out fan fiction about himself, to fulfill his own fantasy that he doesn't even totally realize he has because he certainly doesn't like Dr. Oliver, not no way, not no how. :D It's so good. It's too good!

I did not know I was so impatient until now. The combination of such a good, layered, detailed fic on top of the recent fic drought have just left me dying at the end of each chapter for the next.

Dr. Oliver’s still staring at Luke’s body, and Luke’s half-asleep brain must be running on a time delay, because it’s at least a full ten seconds before Luke thinks to say, “Hello, can I help you?”
Dr. Oliver’s eyebrows shoot up and he pauses for a moment, then shakes his head
Hee! I think Reid has some ideas on how Luke can "help" him.

she says, then smiles and pats his cheek
SHE TOTALLY KNOWS WHAT'S HAPPENING.

“Oh, I’m interested,” he says, his eyes sweeping up and down Luke’s body before settling on the dishes in his hands. “Very interested.”

“Good night, Reid.”

I'm excited about the cooking lesson. There's something sexy about teaching someone a new skill that they appreciate about you. I can't explain it, but it's hot.

Also, is it wrong that I'm almost as excited about Lukas getting a little action soon as I am for Luke and Reid heating things up? If it's wrong, I don't want to be right!

I'm enjoying the Lukas/Jude story just as much as Luke/Reid. I hope Luke learns from his creation, Lukas, and does something soon with Reid. Really like their moments of sharing glances with each other, realizing the something going on between them. Sweet and hot.
