Due to what I can only hope are storm related reasons I had NO INTERNET (other than on my phone) my entire new years evening and night. It came back a little bit before midnight. None of our neighbour's had their unprotected wireless connections working either... so I am thinking it must be some comcast issue related to our weather here. That and ( Read more... )

It really isn't that bad at all. the media just makes it out to be some kind of natural desaster when really this happens all the time.

that shit used to make me sad mad, I would get back from classes and our food would be going bad and then I would just have to leave again to go do skool work...

at least you can turn the news off. papa is the weather report every few seconds and dramatizes rain even more than the media does. i truly think he has a rain phobia.

and you would think he would fix the holy roof...

you don't know how many nightmears I've had where papa is stealing my belongings in order to patch holes in our roof durring stormy weather :( the worst dream was where he ripped my blue blanket out of my hands to patch a hole tearing above my window. I think I woke up screaming.
