Christmas morning...2 days late x)

Courtney was sleeping in her bed when she heard the bickering of her mum and sister, Catherine. Courtney sighed and got out of bed, crawling over to Charlotte's bed and tapping her older sister lightly on the shoulder.

"Charlotte. Hey, Charlotte! Get up! It's Christmas!" the bubbly 12-year-old squeaked, hoping Charlotte would get up faster.

After a few minutes, Charlotte rolled over and opened one eye, "What time is it?" she asked groggily.

Courtney glanced at her alarm clock and then back at Charlotte. "7:34!" she said happily, beginning to pull the covers off her half-asleep sister.

Charlotte brought her hands up to her eyes and rubbed them. "Do we really have to get up right now?" she asked before she yawned.

"Yes! It's Christmas! I want to open my pressies!" Courtney squeaked, appalled that her sister would even think about not getting up right that second.
