New Layout, Headers, and Pimping

I love headers. But I can't figure out how to change layouts more than in the "copy/paste CSS" sense. Well, I sort of COULD, I'm sure, but it takes too long to figure out. I have neither the time nor the patience. =/

It's annoying, really. I also sort of want to figure out how to make icons. Because then I could just MAKE what I wanted!

See, it's this anal attitude that has me writing. XD

I actually use layouts coded by minty_peach and I just insert my own banner and edit the colours. :p I'm too lazy to learn the CSS of livejournal but hopefully I'll learn it soon.

In a typical code though (like this layout: CLICK), all you would have to do is copy and paste the code to notepad, CTRL+F and search for .headerimage Then replace the URL of the original image with the URL of the image you want... (you can upload pics on sites like photobucket/imageshack).

It took me a while to get decent at icons... I've been using Photoshop for a long time though so maybe it was easier for me to learn more than others.
