Over a week had past since the Ville incident. I admit he shook me a little with his muted tones, his lean stature, green eyes and a mixture of his voice and the slight smile hanging from his lips. The way he held himself so gracefully in a chair, the way he ate noodles, jeez even the way he said his own name. I was surprise at the way he had effected me, even if it was only a little. I hadn't been effected like that since.. well, Ryan. And it was hard for me to admit that I was ready to move on from him. Ready to accept the fact that we fell out of love. Theres always that strange feeling in the pit of my stomach, that coldness, everytime I see him, or even if I just look at another guy. Its a horrible feeling and I'd give anything to make it go away. Theres still times when I wake up in the middle of the night and feel empty, like the right side of the bed. I sometimes can't remember the way he laughs or the way he sings, and it's getting diffucult to know that he's fading from me.

I walked out into the living room, sitting on my oversized couch and turning on the television. I turn the channels hoping desperatly to find a good music channel, or at least some show that wasn't in foreign languages. I stumble across a video, one I recognize. Apocolyptia. I had listened to them once or twice back in PA and like what I heard. This was different. I hadn't heard this one. There was an odd man with a strangly high pitch, yet raspy, voice, screaming at someone at the other end of a long table. Then a deep voice, that sent chills up my spine filled through my loft and I waiting to see who it was singing. Only the odd man showed. And he wasnt moving his lips so I doubted it was him. Then like a bolt of lighting, I saw it. It was Ville. Sitting at the other end of the table. I was positive it was him, despite the long length of his hair, it must have been an older video seeing how the last time I saw him he had a billy idol type of haircut. But.. he was signing. I didn't know he sang. He was amazing. The name of the song and band flashed across the bottom of the screen as the song ended with Ville's and the odd mans voices meshed together perfectly.

Bittersweet
Apocolyptia ft/ Ville Valo and Lauri Ylonen.

Well, his name was beautiful. Ville Valo. It rolled off your tounge. It was perfect. I had to hear more of Ville's singing. I pulled on a black blazer, a deep marron scarf and my sneakers and headed outside to find the quickest music store. The buildings all looked the same to me and I had difficulty finding a store and asking directions. I finally found one and I stepped inside, looking around for the sections that alphabatized everything and went straight for 'V'. Ville Valo. Ville Valo. I repeated the name over and found nothing. I searched twice more and came up with nothing. Maybe he didnt have a cd out. Or maybe they just didnt have it here. Even better, maybe its sold out and maybe they have more in the back. I decided to go up and pray the clerk knew english and ask her if they had a copy out back.
"Ville Valo cd?" She said in a strong accent.
"Yes, Ville Valo" I pronounced it slowly.
"Well, he doesnt have a solo cd, but I have copys of the band." She said leading me to the 'H' section.
"The band?"
"Yeah.. HIM" she explained picking up a dark purple cd with Ville on the front and a Black one with some weird heart on the front.
"These are the last 2 cds they came out with and they're in the process of making 'Dark Light' now. It's going to be great. Would you like to purchase on of those?"
I was staring at the cds, a band? Suddenly Burton clicked into my head. A BAND. It was all coming together.
"Yes, both actually."
"Great" she smiled ringing up the prices.
I payed for them and was on my way out the door before she stopped me.
"Oh if you like them there's a concert tonight. Tickets are next door if you're interested.
I smiled fully and thanked her running next door to grab tickets.
They were expensive and cleaned out my wallet but I bought one anyways.

I couldnt wait for the concert. I had listened to the CD's all day and liked every song the same which is amazing because that never happens. My favorite songs were probably The Sacrament, Buried alive by Love and Your sweet 666. I had those three on repeat for a long time and kept checking the clock to await '9:00' when the concert was starting.
It finally reached 8 and I couldnt wait any longer so I decided to head over right away.
I couldn't wait to see him.
