130lbs of failure

One: 'It's not alright..'
Two: 'Nobody's listening'

The teacher stood upright infront of me, looking down. His face held an expression my father often held. Cold.
"Vill-uh?" he said, straining the last part of my name. Mainly becuase for the first 2 days he called me 'vill' for awhile. I corrected him, which obviously made him hate me that very second.
"Yes?" I said, looking down.
"The principle would like to see you in her office." He said, his voice thick.
I got up, grabbing my stuff, and headed out the door.

The long corridor leading to the office seemed to go on forever. It was dead silent, everyone in their classes, everything outside empty.
Including me.
The lockers around me were a bright yellow, and some random black ones here and there. I wondered what their mascot was.. a bee? So much bright colors.. everywhere. Pink ribbons and red bows hung all over the ceiling and walls.
Valentines day, it was in a few days.
The office came into veiw and I picked up my steps.
I dreaded what she wanted me for.
I didn't do anything, unless my clothing was against dress codes.
I looked down, I was wear a pair of black leather pants that hung low and clinged against me. my black muscle shirt, and my black dirty shucks.
It couldn't be against school rules.

I walked into the white walled office, with yellow chairs and black desks. I walked up to the nearest one, and waited for the lady to realize I was there. She was doodling on a blank peice of paper, drawing hearts, and swirls. Writing the names 'Tina' and 'Derek' down several times before i clearned my throat, causing her head to fly up.
"Oh, hello. Sorry."
"Im here to see the principle."
"Do you have an appointment?"
"She asked me to see her."
"Oh, Alright. Whats your name?"
"Ville Valo."
"Alright Ville, please take a seat and she'll be right with you."
I nodded and say in a sunshine bright chair, fidgeting with my fingers.
The office was the only place in the entire school (that I could see) that wasn't decorated in pink and red. Probably why Tina resorted to the paper.
I looked around, everyone seemed to be wearign the same type of clothing. Grey suits on the men, and white or light grey dresses on the woman.
Even my biology teacher dressed this way. And he was one of the outspoken ones.
So, i think it's safe to say this school doesn't like difference.

Tina, in her light grey two peice dress suit, told me I could go in.
I nodded, and got up, walking towards the room marked 'Principle Sherwood.' on the door.
As I stepped into her office, I took a short glimpse around. White walls. Black desk, and a black suit.
She smiled at me slightly before motioning me to take a seat.

"Hello Ville."
I nodded towards her.
"So, you've come from.. where?"
"Finland."
"Oh, I should have picked up, what with your thick accent."
I stared at her, i found it best not to talk much in some situations.
"So, since this is a new school I have asked a fellow student to show you around. You know.. to find the bathrooms, and the classes your attending"
Show me around? I wasn't blind, i could read doors marked 'bathroom' and 'room 106' if i needed to pee or find my math class.
"His name is Brandon, he's.. like you." She said, sort of sneering, looking at my clothes.
I arched a brow. Like me? What was that supposed to mean?
"He will meet you here after class, and then show you to your next class."
I looked at the clock on the wall above her head.. the bell should be ringing soon.
Just as my last thought finished the sound of an annoying ring played through the speakers. The hallways were filled with noise and kids.

I stepped out of her office, looking into the hallway. Every kid was wearing almost the same clothes. Girls in small skirts, with the exception of the ones in jeans too tight for them. Boys in fitted blue jeans, and t shirts with stupid phrases on them like 'I [heart] [twopeoplehavingsex]'. Graphic images, why wasn't that banned? Most of the boys wore black jakets with yellow sleeves with two hockey sticks on the back, indicating the hockey team they were on. how many jesus hocky players did they need?
I awaited the arrival of Brandon. The looks of people around me, judging me, and scorning me.
I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned around.
"I see by your interesting choice in pants, that your Ville. The dude from Finland."
I looked at him. He was a good 2 or so inches below me. He didn't look like everyone else. Maybe that's what Mrs. Sherwood meant?
He wore black dress pants, a tight black shirt and and a skateboard in his hand. He smiled up at me.
"Yeah."
"Nice accent."
"Are you Brandon?"
"Fucking Sherwood." he said, giving the finger in the direction of her office. "It's Bam."
I nodded.
"So, where do you have to be next?"
"Look, Bam. Im not illiterate. I appreciate the help, but im pretty sure I can read my schedual, and match it to whatever is on the doors."
He let out a hearty laugh.
"Yeah, im sure you can. But can you manage to do it without getting punched in the face for wearing those haggard ass pants?"
I looked down and smiled.
"With that buldge the guys are gonna wanna kick your ass to prove themselves."
I gave a smirk.
"So, next class?"
