After half an hour Bam sent April to go out and look for Ville. She found him at the park. April walked over to Ville. “What are you doing out here. It’s starting to get cold.” Ville turned to face her. “I’m sorry. I can’t stay at the house. I need to get away as soon as I can.” “Where are you going to go?” “Back home. The kids will be better of their.”
“Whatever Bam has done, he doesn’t mean it. Can you at lest give him another chance.” “I can’t unless I knew what he really feels towards me.” “This isn’t my place to tell you but he still loves more than he cares to admit it.”
“Why can he tell Missy and not tell me?” “What are you talking about?” “He told Missy but he doesn’t know that I know.” Abbie comes running over to them. “Daddy, are we going back now?” “No we are not.” Abbie starts sulking. “It’s not fair. I wanna go back and play on the skate park.”
“I’ll take them back and let you have a think about what you want to do.” “Thanks April. Kids, you are going back with April. Be good and I ‘ll sees you later.” Both the kids kissed Ville then followed April back while Ville walked off in the other direction.
Once April was back at castle Bam, she was bombarded with questions from Bam. “Were Ville? Is he ok? When is he coming back? Why did he leave? Is he staying here?” “Bam calm down. I have no idea when Ville will be back. What happened between you and Missy?”
“It’s over. She knows I still love Ville. How did you know?” “Ville told me. He said he over heard what was said.” “If he knew then why didn’t he stay and talk to me?” “Ville needs a bit of time to think about this. I don’t think he knows what to do for the best at the moment.”
Bam sat on the sofer. “I have no idea what to do. I want to tell Ville the truth but I’m scared of what his reaction will be. I’ve never felt like this about anyone apart from Ville. It’s killing me that I’m so close to him but I can’t have him.”
“Prove to Ville that you want to be part of his, Abbie and Tuomas lives.” “How can I when Ville won’t give me that chance.” “Ville is not here so look after the children.” Bam went over to Tuomas and Abbie. “What do you want to do?” Tuomas looked at Ville with a confused look. “Have computer games?” “Yes. I have a cars game. Do you want to play it?” Tuomas face lit up and he smiled at Bam for the first time. “Yes.”
Half an hour after Bam put Abbie and Tuomas to bed, Ville walked into the house. Ville was about to go upstairs when Bam came into the room. “Where have you been?” “Out and thinking about what is going on. Where are the kids?” “They are in bed. We need to talk.”
“Thanks. I should go and check on them.” Ville started to walk up the stairs when Bam stopped him. “I mean it Ville. We need to have a serious chat about Abbie and us.” “there is no us. I need to check on the kids then I promise to talk to you about Abbie.”
Ville went to check on Tuomas and when he went to check on Abbie, she woke up. Ville picked her up and walked into his room. He laid down on the bed with Abbie on top of him. “I’m sorry about today, kulta.” “S’ok Daddy. I’m glad you’re here. I missed you.” Ville smiled although Abbie couldn’t see it.
“Did you have a good time.” “Yes, Bammie played car games with us and then took us to bed. Are we gonna live here?” “No, I don’t know. Do you like Bam?” “Yes he is nice.” After 15 minutes Bam came into the room. He smiles at the sight before his eyes. When Ville noticed Bam he smiled at him. “Can you check to see if Abbie is asleep?” “Yes she is. I’ll out her back in bed.” “No it’s ok. I’ll do that.”
When Ville got back to his room, Bam was waiting for him. “Ville what is going on? Why did you leave like that? April told me you heard about me and Missy, why didn’t you tell me?”
“Does it matter. I can’t go back to how it used to be between us. Thinks have chanced.” “Just tell me how you really feel about me since you know how I feel about you.” “I still love you but I need to think about what is best for Tuomas.” “What about Abbie?” “Abbie already decided that she wants to live here and she likes you.”
Bam had a huge grin. “At lest it makes it slightly easier to tell her the truth. Why don’t you just move in here. I have the room.” “It’s not as easy at that…” Bam cut Ville of by moving closer to him and places his lips softly on Ville’s. once Ville has realised what Bam is doing he pulls away.
“Bam we can’t do this.” “I don’t get it. How can you just walk away from someone you love and not look back?” “Bam, I do..” “No Ville. I’m sick of the reasons. I ,love you and I want to be part of your family but you won’t let me do either. It’s as if you don’t want me around.”
Bam walked out the room. Ville sat on the bed for a few moments thinking about what to do. “I do want that more than anything but I’m scared of what will happen.” He decided to ring Jykri.
Hi. I’m sorry about ringing at whatever time it is in Helsinki. Jykri, I can’t do this. I need to get out.
Calm down Ville. there is a house on the outskirt of Helsinki that will be perfect for you and the family. Why don’t you come back on Friday and stay with me until the house is sorted.
