Title: Patient Forgiveness
Author: myforgottenpain
Rating: R for content
Pairing: Vam all the way!
Summary: When Bam and Ville finally are given a chance to be together, will they be able to make the life they always wanted?
Disclaimer: I don’t own anything connected to HIM, Ville Valo, or Bam Margera. Nor do I imply that in reality they are anything but friends. I, however, could not pass up a great idea for a fan fiction!
Warnings: Angsty in the beginning, but it will get better! I swear!
Authors Notes: I'm still pulling this story together, so hopefully it will work well with me posting it before its done. I've only rewritten this story like... eight times...
“Is Katri alright? She’s been getting sick a lot lately.” April asked as she walked over to Bam, who was enjoying breakfast.
“Yeah… of course she’s alright.” Bam said as he looked to Ville, who had just come in to join them. He sat up more, exchanging a kiss with him.
“Maybe I should give her some medicine…” April mused softly.
“No!” Bam cried, grabbing his mothers arm to stop her. “Ummm…” He paused and looked to Ville, who joined Bam in looking at April.
“Why not?” April asked, looking between the two men. “That poor thing can’t keep anything down.”
“Fuck…” Bam released his mother and looked down for a moment, before looking at Ville again, rubbing the back of his neck. “Should we tell them now?”
Ville shrugged, “If you want too.”
“What?” April asked, a sense of fear gripping her. “What’s going on? Is she alright?”
Bam slowly stood up, “She’s pregnant.”
April stared at Bam blankly for a moment before looking to Ville who nodded. “She is?” April asked, looking like she might cry at any second. “Does that mean she won’t be able to have a baby for you and Ville?”
Bam and Ville chuckled, “No Ape… she’s having our baby.” Bam said, indicating to himself and Ville.
“Are you serious?!” April exclaimed, yanking Bam close so she could hug him. “Why didn’t you tell us sooner?”
“We wanted to make sure everything was alright with the baby before we said anything.” Bam exclaimed, reaching out with one hand to pull Ville close.
Ville stood up and joined them for the hug.
“How far along is she?” April asked, sitting down with her son and his lover.
“Only about twelve weeks, we'll be going to the doctors again soon. We’ll be able to hear the heart beat for the first time.” Bam explained.
April brushed some tears away before touching Bam’s cheek. “My little man is all grown up.”
Ville grinned and chuckled a little, mumbling in Finnish, “This is nothing little about that man.”
Bam smacked Ville in the stomach playfully before turning his attention back to April. “We are very excited.”
“I bet you are!” April said, quickly adding, “Have you guys made any plans yet?”
“Not really, just trying to take it one step at a time.” Bam said, taking Ville’s hand in his own.
“Well let me know when it’s time to start getting really excited. I already have a nursery theme in mind.” April said with a smile, lost for a moment in her own thoughts.
“So we don’t get to pick it out?” Ville whispered to Bam.
“We’ll do it when she’s not looking.” Bam whispered back, stealing a quick kiss. “Or just work over what she did. It wouldn’t be the first time I did it.”
Ville grinned, “You’re so bad.”
“I’ve come to except that part of my personality.” Bam answered which made them both laugh.

“Alright Miss Valo, if you could sit right here, the doctor will be with you in a moment.” The nurse said after leading them into the room.
Katri nodded and slid onto the reclining chair, smiling at her brother and Bam.
“Oh man… this is it. Our first look at the baby.” Bam said, pacing until Ville grabbed his shirt and pulled him close. He smiled up at Ville when the older man wrapped his arms around him. “Hi.”
Ville smiled and answered by leaning in to kiss Bam, which steadily deepened.
Katri leaned against her leg, which she had drawn close, playing with her ankle bracelets until the doctor came in.
The doctor reintroduced himself to everyone in the room and asked them how things had been going. Katri said she didn’t want to complain, but she had been getting extremely sick in the morning and was thirsty more so than normal. The doctor thanked her for being honest about what was bothering her and assured her they would check it out after the sonogram.
Once Katri was in a comfortable position the doctor applied a clear jell to her stomach and started the procedure.
“Is it alright that she hasn’t started to show yet?” Bam asked, watching the computer screen intensely for any sign of life.
“Very common, especially if she has been throwing up as much as she says.” The doctor replied without looking away from the screen. “Most mothers only gain about three or four pounds in the first trimester. Plus this is her first pregnancy, so her body is accommodating a baby for the first time.” He paused again and then smiled, “Ah ha…there we go.” He turned the screen more to them, “There’s your baby and that noise you are hearing is the heart beat.”
Ville and Bam leaned closer, holding each others hands tightly as they resisted the urge to cry. “This is so amazing.” Bam whispered, which Ville agreed too.
“Is everything alright with it?” Katri asked.
“Looks like it from here.” The doctor said, going through the age of the fetus and what they could see of its development. “Looks like its not going to let us see the sex.”
“You can tell that already?” Bam asked.
“Yup, but we’ll have to try again, it’s not letting us see it now.” The doctor said.
“What’s that?” Ville asked, indicating to the screen.
The doctor looked away from Bam and to the screen again, adjusting the way the sonogram wand was against Katri’s stomach. “We’ll I’ll be damned.”

“So how did it go?” April asked, sitting on Phil’s lap, both excited to get word about the appointment.
“Well we have good news and surprising news.” Bam said, looking at Ville who was power smoking his first cigarette since they had left for Spain.
“Is anything wrong?” April asked, staring intently at the phone as she listened to her son’s voice on speaker phone.
“Well… that’s hard to say.” Bam answered back.
“Just tell us Bam… whatever it is, we will take care of it together.” Phil said in a calm manner, despite the worry he was feeling, holding on to April tightly.
“Well… we’re having twins.”
“Twins?!” Phil and April exclaimed together. Phil cheered while April clamped her hands over her mouth, gathering the energy she needed before she cheered too.
Bam chuckled, “It shouldn’t be so much of a surprise. Since Katri is herself a twin, she has a higher chance of having twins herself.”
“This is so exciting. We have so much to do. It’s a good thing we live together, we can help you.” April said, smiling more when she saw Ryan coming towards them. She threw her arms out and ran over to hug the man she considered a son. “Ryan!”
“April!” Ryan laughed as he hugged April. “I just came over to get caught up on what’s happening with the baby.”
“Babies! She’s having twins!” April exclaimed.
Ryan’s mouth dropped, “Are you serious?! That’s wonderful! God help us all, but that’s wonderful news.”
“Why did you say that?” April asked.
“I wasn’t sure we were ready for one child of Bam Margera, now we’re getting two! We’re going to need all the help we can get.” Ryan said which caused April to smack him in the arm playfully.
“I have shopping to do.” April said, grabbing her purse before she hurried out of the house.
Ryan chuckled and walked over to the phone, “How’s Katri holding up with the news?”
“She’s getting some tests done, but she seems like she is alright. This could explain why she has been getting so sick lately.” Bam said back, taking a cigarette from Ville when he was offered one. “This is so amazing. I can’t believe we are having two babies.”
“Me neither, well you know you will have all the help you could ask for.” Ryan said, chuckling when Phil went to use the office phone to call the rest of their family.
Bam paused, looking to the doorway of the hospital as Katri came through the door. “Speaking of the lady of the hour, here she comes. I’ll talk to you soon.”
Ville noticed the worried look on Katri’s face as she walked over to them, her arms wrapped around herself. “Is something wrong?”
Katri blinked back her tears and smiled at Ville, nodding, “I’m fine… just really happy for you guys.”
“Did the test go alright?” Bam asked as they walked to the car.
“They weren’t sure so they have to do some more tests.” Katri said softly, gazing out of the window.
“Well let us know when the appointments are, we’ll bring you back up here.” Bam said, shifting the car into gear so he could drive them out of the parking lot.
“I will.” Katri said softly.
