I've been a member of this place for a very long time now, but managed to forget my old password.
Decided to rejoin and post an idea for a one shot to see what you all think.

The rain beat down with a rhythmic tempo that was intermitted with the slosh of wet feet in wet shoes pounding on concrete. The orange streetlamp light reflected on the wet pavement and was broken up and scattered by the driving rain, creating mini supernovas every few hundred yards. All this was ignored as he sloshed on through the rain and turned into the street of his destination. He was soaked down to his underwear and has been walking around for hours trying to make a decision when the rain had started and made it for him. The house loomed ahead and a flock of butterflies erupted in his stomach as he pushed open the wooden gate and sloshed up the short garden path. The lights shone warmly from the windows and he was somewhat glad someone was home even if it made him even more nervous. He knocked on the door, and waited what seemed an eternity for someone to answer…
