Title: Frozen To Lose It All
Pairing: Vam, Ville/Jonne
Rating: PG-13 to NC-17
Summary: Ville has been with Jonne for two years now and they want to start their life together. But, when Bam gets in the picture will it stay the same or will everything fall apart?
*Note* This will end up being a MPreg in later chapters. Also, Jonne is a few years older in this since I didn't want Ville to be considered a molester. :p
Disclaimer: If I owned Ville, Bam, or Jonne do you really think I'd be writing??

‘This can’t be the day,’ Bam thought, not wanting to open his eyes. ‘There’s no way…’ A knock came at the door that led to Jonne sticking his head in.

“You guys have to leave in an hour,” he said quietly.

“Alright…” Bam reluctantly got up and walked to the other side of the bed to wake Ville, but felt his stomach drop. Ville’s eyes were a dark brown with his lips pale. “Oh God, Ville!” He pulled the frail Finn into his arms, talking into his ear. “Baby, get up! C’mon, Vil, get up!” Thankfully Ville’s eyes fluttered opened, calming Bam’s heart beat.

“Bam…” he whispered in a raspy voice. “I…I don’t…feel good…” Bam wiped away some strands of Ville’s sweaty hair off of his forehead.

“Okay, sweetie, I’ll get you better…” He carefully laid him down and ran into the bathroom, getting the thermometer and wetting a towel. Bam placed the cold rag on Ville’s head and stuck the thermometer under his tongue. “It’ll be okay, hun…” the thermometer beeped, reading 103.4. “Oh, fuck…” He went into the living room, frantically searching for Jonne.

“What’s wrong?”

“Call Mige!” Jonne furrowed his brow.

“Why?”

“Ville’s got a 103 degree fever…” Bam went back into their room, leaving Jonne panicking.

“Oh my God,” he breathed, beginning to shake while he dialed Mige’s number.

“Hello?” he answered in a groggy voice.

“Mikko! It’s Jonne, you have to get over here now!” Without question, he agreed and raced over to the apartment.

“Baby, I have to get your coat on,” Bam said gently, trying to put Ville’s arm in the sleeve. He shook his head weakly.

“N-no…I’m too…h-hot…”

“I know, my baby, but you’ll get sicker if you don’t” Finally agreeing, Bam got Ville’s coat on and carried him into the living room where Jonne and Mige stood. “Jonne, you’re coming with us, Mige, you’re watching the kids.”

“Wait,” Ville panted weakly. “I h-have to…say g-goodbye…to…Ella…”

“Baby, she’s sleeping.”

“But…n-no…” Bam fixed his grip on him and rushed towards the door, going downstairs to the car. He laid Ville down in the backseat, placing his head in his lap.

“You have to stay awake, alright?” Ville nodded in a daze while Jonne started the car up. “You’ll be okay…I’ve got you, baby…”

“Don’t…leave m-me…”

"I won’t…ever…” They made it to the hospital quickly since Jonne ran nearly every red light there was. Bam carried him inside the emergency room and the nurses rushed to get him a bed.

“Jesus Christ,” Jonne breathed, sitting in a chair in the waiting room as they worked on Ville. Bam nodded, doing the same.

“Why the fuck is this happening?” he whimpered, nearly in tears. Jonne shook his head and paused before lightly placing his hand on Bam’s. Letting out a shaky breath, Bam held Jonne’s hand tighter and cried openly with him, something he thought would never happen.

“What’d they say?” Jonne asked, slouching in a chair. Bam shook his head, sitting down next to him.

“They don’t know anything…” Jonne snuffed.

“They’re doctors! How can they not know anything?!”

“It means they’re not allowed to say anything yet,” he sighed. Jonne bit his lip, running his hands through his hair. “Fuck, I can’t just sit here…it’s like I’m waiting for a Goddamn death sentence.”

“You wanna get some coffee?” he asked. Bam shrugged.

"I don’t know…” Just then, a doctor walked up to them, causing Bam to shoot up, along with Jonne.

“Mr. Margera, I’m Dr. Rasmussen. I’ve been working with Ville.”

“Is he okay?” he asked frantically. Dr. Rasmussen sighed.

“We tried to bring down his fever, but it shot up to 105.6.” Bam swallowed, holding Jonne’s hand for support. “We put him on an ice blanket, so we’ll see how that goes. We also had to put off the surgery until his fever goes down. We took a blood test when he first came in…”

“Did…did it show anything?”

“There's a virus in his blood stream.” Bam’s mouth dropped as he felt a tug on his arm from Jonne sitting down. “To treat the virus we’ll have to do a transfusion, maybe more than one, depending on how the first one goes.”

“Can…can I see him?” He nodded, leading them into his room. Ville was shivering on his bed, covered in an ice blanket with cold clothes on his forehead. Bam felt his breath hitch at the sight of his helpless lover. Slowly, he took Ville’s hand and lightly stroked his knuckles.

“I’ll give you a minute,” Dr. Rasmussen said, walking out.

“Hi, baby,” Bam said quietly, tears falling down his face. Ville looked over at him and tried to respond, but was unable to. “Shh…it’s okay…I’m here…” Jonne sat down on the other side of the bed and felt Ville’s freezing cold hand.

“I’m gonna call Mikko…” He got up quickly, leaving Bam and Ville alone.

“Don’t be scared, sweetie…I’ll be right here with you, okay?” Ville nodded slightly while Bam kissed his hand. A monitor beeped, causing Bam to jump as two nurses rushed in. They began speaking rapid Finnish and pushed him out the door. “Wait a minute!” He glanced at the monitor, feeling his heart sink. It read 105. 9, making the nurses lower the temperature on the ice blanket. “I’ll be right outside, hun,” Bam called. “I love you, Ville…” The nurses pushed him out the door where Jonne was speaking rapid Finnish on the phone. Hanging up, Jonne put a hand on Bam’s shoulder.

“Mikko called Kari and Anita…and Ella won’t stop crying.”

"Fuck,” Bam hissed, sitting down.

“What’s going on in there?”

“His fever went up again, so they kicked me out…I don’t know what to do anymore…” Jonne bit his lip, hugging Bam tightly.

“He’s a strong guy, Bam…he’ll make it…” Bam nuzzled his head in Jonne’s shoulder, taking a sharp breath.

“But what if he wants to give up?” he whispered. “He’s been through so much…what if he’s just…just too tired to fight?” Jonne tucked a strand of hair behind Bam’s ear and shook his head.

“He has too much to give up…he loves you and the kids more than anything…”

“He loves you, too…”

“Where’s my baby?!” Bam and Jonne looked up to see a frantic Anita running up to them. She was crying in Finnish with Kari holding onto the wall, looking as bad as Ville. Jonne comforted Anita while Bam went for Kari.

“You didn’t have to come…” Kari shook his head.

“He’s my son, Bam. It’s my job to come and be there for him. How’s he doing?”

“His fever keeps going up,” Bam sighed. “They put him on an ice blanket…and-and they said he has a blood infection…” Breathing heavily, Kari looked down, nearly in tears. “He’ll need transfusions before he can get his back surgery.”

“Did you get the insurance fixed?” Bam nodded, exhaling.

‘Yeah, they spelled our name wrong on the form…Kari…I love Ville, you know that…I-I just don’t know what to do…” Kari pulled him into a hug, letting Bam cry on his shoulder.
