so i got inspired to write some vam poems and here is one of tehm. Take it however you wish.

Title: Murmers of the Heart
Pairing: Vam
Disclaimer: Don't own, duh!

I close my eyes and count to 10
Trying to reassure myself
That we’ll be together again
I just want to feel you
Have you hold me in your strong arms
What happened to it all?
Why was it all erased?
I try to keep my patience
But I can’t
I constantly wait to the ring of the phone
To signal the call
That you are coming home
But it doesn’t come
The phone rings and rings
But I cannot hear
I am lost in a sea of mystery
And I can’t get out
I pick up the phone and cradle it
All of a sudden I hear a voice cry out
‘I don’t know if you can hear me,
But I love you!’
My heart starts pounding
I can’t believe my fate
As I pick up the phone
I feel an all to familiar sound
The dial tone
I wince at my stupidity
And set the phone back in it’s place
As I return to my sulking
The doorbell rings
I answer the door at a snail’s pace
When the door creaks open
I see the smiling shadow
Of your lovely face
It’s happened
We’re together and I’m so happy for it
I just wonder what would’ve happened
If I hadn’t picked up the phone
Would you have heard my breathing?
God only knows
And there’s only so many times
That I can thank him that I don’t have to wonder.
