Chapter 1 Chapter 2 Chapter 3 Ville sighed as he exited the bathroom. Seeing as how there were no fresh towels anywhere that he could use to dry his hands with after washing them, he merely wiped them on his shirt as he continued back to Bam's room. Upon entering, he found Bam curled up into a ball in the middle of his king-sized bed. Curiosity propelled him to barter a closer glance, therefore, he walked around to the side where Bam was facing only to discover that he had dozed off. An adoration smile spread across Ville's face as he gazed down at Bam's peacefully sleeping face. It wasn't long, however before a sinister idea crept into Ville's subconscious. Cautiously, Ville poked Bam's arm with his index finger, watching Bam's face with undying alertness. Upon receiving no signs of waking, Ville crept around to the foot of the bed and carefully removed Bam's shoes, one at a time, placing them on the floor as quietly as he could afterwards.
'Shoes off, next socks,' Ville noted to himself.
Swallowing the lump in his throat Ville grabbed onto the edge of Bam's ankle sock and carefully pulled the material off of his foot. He quickly glanced up at Bam's still slumbering features before returning to work on the second sock. Ville poked the tip of his tongue out of his mouth as he worked to remove Bam's second sock from his other foot. Once the object was finally cleared of Bam's foot, Ville sighed lightly, his plan working perfectly. A devious smile then crept onto Ville's features as he leaned on his elbows at the foot of Bam's bed. Upon preparing to assalt Bam's feet with all manner of tickling, Ville postponed his actions upon hearing small whimpering sounds being emitted from Bam's throat.
"No...." Bam groaned, his face turning deeper into the cover sheet. "What are you doing?.....No...no don't..stop...Stop! Oh God no! Please stop!"
Ville barely had time to react before Bam's body proceeded to convulse in rapid succession, his muscles contracting violently as his nightmare horrified him.
"Bam!" Ville shouted, almost pouncing on him. "Bam, wake up!"
"Stop! Oh God stop it! Please!" Bam screamed as he thrashed violently against Ville's grip. "Please...please stop!"
By now, Bam's thrashing had lessened considerably, however a continuous flow of tears poured from under his eyelids and down his face, some managing to rain upon his cover sheet.
"Bam Bam!" Ville shouted, shaking Bam. "Wake up! Open your eyes!"
"No....no...no no no..." Bam's shaky voice chanted, his whole body now quivering from the previous shock.
"That's it Bam Bam," Ville said, slightly loosening his grip. "Just calm down, you'll be alright."
However just when Ville thought that Bam's mental torment had ended, another violent shock coursed through Bam's mind and body.
"No, please!" Bam cried out. "No! Don't! No...Ville!"
Ville braced himself as more violent surges fought their way through Bam's physical body, every muscle contracting on its own accord. Tears started to burn the backs of Ville's eyes as he watched and waited for his friend's hellish torture of the mind to cease. Ville closed his eyes shut tightly as he fought to keep the tears from spilling over onto his face as Bam's tormented screams of his name and the words "no" and "please" continued to assault his ears. Within moments, Bam was reduced to a panting mess of sobs as his nightmare had finally ceased and his eyes snapped open. Glancing around, Bam reassured himself that it was only a nightmare and nothing more. He then rested his head back onto the mattress, furrowing his brow when his gaze focused enough to notice Ville practically hovering over him.
"Ville?" his voice more or less cracked.
Upon hearing his name, Ville opened his eyes and soon found Bam's crystalline-blue eyes staring back at his. Ville sighed and smiled, Bam soon mimicking him, and before they knew it, laughter had consumed them both. During their fit of laughter, Bam's door, which had been closed, suddenly flew open, emitting practically everyone who took up residence there. Moments of awkward silence passed over them as Raab, Ryan, Rake, Brandon, April, Phil, Chad, Deron and Jess took in the scene before them. Ville was on top of Bam, practically pinning him to the mattress. Bam was a mess all over; ruffled clothes, unruly hair, moist tear trails running down his face and red, swollen eyes evident from crying. The silence was finally broken, however when finally Ville cleared his throat.
"Uh...this isn't what it looks like..." he said in a wavering tone.
"Well, we'll just leave you guys alone then..." Jess said as he ushered everyone else out of the doorway and closed the door.
"Oh great, now my parents and all of my friends including the whole band of CKY thinks that I'm gay and am now sleeping with you," Bam said as he covered his eyes with his left forearm.
"Well, it could've been worse I suppose," Ville said, shrugging.
"Oh yeah, I'm sure," Bam said as squirmed out from under Ville.
"I'm sorry Bam Bam," Ville apologized as he sat down on the bed. "It's just that you were having a horrible nightmare and..."
"It's okay Ville," Bam said as he pulled his knees up to his chest, his arms instantly wrapping around them afterwards. "You don't need to apologize."
"Although, I am curious to know why you kept screaming my name," Ville inquired. "Your voice held such pain and torment that....it scared me..."
Bam shook his head and buried his face in his knees, his body quivering as another river of tears assaulted his eyes.
"It was horrible..." Bam whispered. "Neverending screams, blood everywhere, unbearable pain....I just couldn't take it anymore..."
Bam's new wave of tormented cries that escaped his throat broke Ville's heart. Building up his courage, he crawled over to where Bam was currently sobbing and rested his hand on one of Bam's knees. Tear soaked blue eyes glanced up into watering green ones. As if Ville's heart wasn't broken enough, the pained expression that now bore into his visual subconscious was enough to shatter his previously cracked heart. With a warm smile finding its way onto Ville's features, he spread his arms wide and whispered for Bam to come into the safety of his protective embrace. Finding no other option, Bam obeyed and crawled into Ville's embrace, his Finnish friend's arms gently encircling his quivering body in their warmth and protection. Upon finding a safe santuary, Bam finally allowed himself to break down completely, weeping mercilessly into the fabric of Ville's shirt. Ville awhile softly whispered comforting messages to Bam in Finnish while rubbing soothing circles on the skin of Bam's back.
"That's it Bam," Ville cooed. "Let it all out. Don't be afraid because you are safe within my arms."
"Thank you Ville," Bam whispered as he rested his head against Ville's chest.

Hours passed and before long, Bam's crew began to worry.
"They've been up there practically the whole day," Raab commented. "What do you think they're doing?"
"Probably making out," Ryan jeered, jabbing Rake in the ribs with his elbow.
"Why would you say that?" Brandon asked. "Bam's a straight guy, I don't think he'd just want to all of a sudden turn gay on us."
"Well then how would you explain that scene from this morning?"
"Bad timing?" Rake offered.
"I don't know..." Raab said leaning his head on his hands. "Although they do make a cute couple, don't you think?"
"Who?" Ryan questioned. "Ville and Bam? I don't know...Bam and Jenn were a pretty cute couple and look what happened."
"Ryan!" Brandon scolded. "Don't say that so loud! Bam might hear you."
"Sorry." Ryan said sarcastically.
"You know, maybe that was just bad timing on our part this morning," Raab said sighing.
"Why do you say that?" Rake asked.
"Well, didn't you hear Bam's screams prior to us running up there?"
"Yeah," Brandon, Ryan and Rake said in unison.
"Well, in my opinion, I think that maybe, Bam had a really bad dream or got hurt some how and maybe Ville was either trying to wake him up or stop him from hurting himself any further."
Raab's words caused the possible causes for a logical explanation to the scene they witnessed earlier to make sense. In fact, the gang of friends had witnessed an account of how horrible Bam's nightmares actually were. The worst account had been during a camping trip when the pack of friends were around the age of 16. Bam was the first to fall asleep and by around midnight had been able to wake everyone else up and practically scare them half to death. Luckily though, April was able to calm Bam down and get him to fall asleep again. Thankfully he hadn't had a nightmare since, until this morning anyway.
"Wow, poor Bam," Brandon said, shame washing over his subconscious. "Here Bam was having this horrifying nightmare and Ville was just trying to wake him up and calm him down and we have the arrogance to think that he and Ville were getting it on. We should be ashamed of ourselves."
"Maybe a good, sound apology would really do Bam a world of good right now," Ryan concluded. "I mean it's one thing to be suffering from a horrible nightmare one day after a heart-breaking break-up, but having your friends be suspicious of your sexuality is too much for our poor pal."
"Alright it's decided then," Rake said. "Let's all go and apologize to Bam and Ville for jumping to conclusions."

By the time Ryan, Rake, Brandon and Raab had reached Bam's closed door, the sounds of laughter had finally reached their ears.
"No way, you did what?" Bam asked after a fit of laughter.
"I told this old man in my regular bar in Helsinki that he was hot and literally frenched him," Ville said before being consumed in a fit of laughter.
"And how many beers did you consume that night?"
"About 20 or so," Ville confessed. "I had the worst hangover in the history of hangovers the next morning let me tell you."
"So did he enjoy it?" Bam asked afterwards.
"Oh I'm sure," Ville said smugly. "Because he gave me a hell of a lot of money afterwards. I wouldn't be suprised if he thought I was a woman."
"Well, you are quite beautiful," Bam laughed.
"Why thank you," Ville joked.
"Wow...if I was a woman I'd totally want to fuck you into the mattress right about now," Bam confessed.
"You don't have to be a woman just to do that you know," Ville said deviously.
"Oh I know...but that would just be weird, and besides, what would my friends say?"
"Who cares?" Ville asked, his voice dropping an octive. "They probably think we make a cute couple anyway."
Raab had to cover his mouth to suppress his laugh.
"You really think so?" Bam asked perplexed.
"Yeah I do," Ville said.
The noises that were emitting from the bed signified that either Ville or Bam was moving about on it. Sharper creaks and a soft thud more or less meant that someone had stood up from the bed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bam blinked as Ville answered his question about them being a cute couple. He then bowed his head and found that his fingers had some how become very interesting to him, meeting Ville's gaze becoming harder and harder to return after each passing second. However he glanced up when he felt the mattress dip slightly in Ville's direction. Turns out Ville was scooting closer to him, for what he couldn't guess, but a sense of impending discomfort caused him to move away from Ville, eventually causing him to alight from the bed and walk over to his window. The light from the sun was slowing waning as the sun descended over towards the western horizon. Bam sighed as he wrapped his arms around his torso, the room suddenly becoming increasingly cold. Bam jumped slightly when he felt Ville wrap his arms around his shivering body.
"What's wrong Bam Bam?" Ville whispered into Bam's ear.
"It's nothing Ville," Bam choked out. "I'm just not ready to be in another relationship so soon."
"What do you mean so soon?" Ville asked. "What happened to Jenn? Aren't you two still together?"
"As of yesterday, no," Bam whispered. "Apparently she was too high maintanence to appreciate everything I ever did for her."
"I'm sorry Bam," Ville apologized. "I didn't know..."
"It's okay Ville," Bam intrupted. "I don't blame you for our break-up. In fact I'm glad you're here."
"You are?"
"Yes," Bam answered. "Because you're practically the only one whom I'm not embarassed to break down and cry to, because I know you've been through it before. You'll understand what it feels like..."
The memories of his break-up with Jonna caused Ville to embrace Bam more tightly, for fear that if he didn't, Bam, like Jonna would slip through his fingers.
"Actually Bam it is you whom I should be thanking," Ville whispered.
"Why?" Bam questioned.
"Because if it wasn't for you, I probably would have forgotten why Jonna and I broke up and blamed myself to the point of killing myself." Ville explained. "And I feel that I never really did thank you."
Bam furrowed his brow and turned in Ville's embrace to stare into Ville's eyes, a question begging to be asked. A faint blush had since worked its way across Bam's blush line, giving his face a soft hue of pink which made Ville smile even more. Ville then lifted his right hand and gently rested it on the side of Bam's face. Bam gasped at the sudden contact and blushed a deeper shade of pink.
"You're so beautiful," Ville whispered, his thumb gently stroking the skin of Bam's cheek.
"V-Ville?" Bam studdered.
"Shh," Ville cooed, pressing his index finger against Bam's lips.
Bam's heart thundered in his chest, a faint ringing in his ears being the result of his racing heart, as Ville's face drew closer to his. Bam slowly closed his eyes as Ville's warm breath ghosted over his slightly parted lips. His heart almost ceased its fast paced beating when their lips had finally found each others.
"Can you hear anything?" Raab whispered to Ryan.
"No," Ryan answered.
"Look this is stupid," Brandon whispered. "Let's just stop eavesdropping and go in, apologize to Bam and Ville for suspecting them to like each other in that way and get out."
"Alright, on the count of three," Ryan said grabbing onto the door knob. "One, two, three."
On the count of three, Ryan turned the door knob and pushed open Bam's door.
"Hey Bam," Ryan started. "We just wanted to say that....woah..."
The sight that the three saw before them was enough to cause all of their jaws to drop open and their voices to fail them.
Well, that's it for now. So see ya later. ^_^
