Chapter Seven
~Ville’s POV~
I thought about what a little girl might need. I figured we had to go shopping. I had a guest room, but it was currently home to boxes of Bam’s. She needed a bed, clothes, some toys and a doll. I knew girls liked a doll that was the only thing I was sure of at this point. I knew I didn’t want to take her shopping with me and Bam so I decided to call Linde. I would ask him to bring Olivia over so Eveliina could make a friend, and also so I had someone to watch her.
“I’ll be right back,” I said as I got up off the couch and headed into the bedroom. I found my cell phone on the nightstand. I dialed Linde’s number and waited for his answer.
“Moi”
“Lily, its Ville, listen I need a favor and please don’t ask any questions, I will explain it all later,” I said in almost one breath. I must have sounded in a panic, but at this point I was.
“Okay Ville, what do you need?” he asked with concern in his voice.
“I need you to bring Olivia over; I’ll explain the rest when you get here.”
“Okay, I’ll be over in 10 minutes.”
“Thanks Lily, I owe you,” I said before hanging up.
I walked back into the living room to find Bam and Eveliina still watching cartoons, oblivious to my existence. But I had to tell Bam what was going on.
“Bam, Linde is on his way over with Olivia.”
“Why?” Bam asked not letting his eyes move from the TV.
“Because, my daughter needs something’s. So we, meaning you and me, need to go shopping.”
“Shopping . . . do I have to?” Bam whined.
“Yes, now get ready,” I said as I went into the bedroom to get dressed. I threw on a pair of jeans and an Iggy Pop t-shirt. I made my way out into the living room just as I heard a knock on the door.
I opened the door and was greeted by Linde and his darling little girl. I let them into the house and took their coats.
“Okay Lin, The reason I needed you to bring Olivia over was . . . well . . . I just found out I have a daughter and I need you to look after her while Bam and I go shopping,” I got out all in one breath. Linde looked at me for a moment before he spoke.
“You have a daughter? Who is her mother and when in the hell did that happen?”
“Jonna and the night Bam left,” I knew that was a good enough explanation for him, he simply nodded his head and smiled.
“Well, let’s go meet your little girl,” Linde said taking Olivia’s hand.
I led them into the living room and smiled when I saw Eveliina sitting on Bam’s lap talking with him.
“Eveliina, I want you to meet Linde and Olivia,” Eveliina looked up at me, then at the two people I had brought into the room. She smiled at Olivia and got off of Bam’s lap. She walked over to Olivia and stuck out her hand.
“I’m Eveliina,” she said sweetly.
“Olivia.”
“Wanna come watch cartoons?” Eveliina asked and practically dragged Olivia to the TV.
I smiled as I watched them, they were so young, and I only hoped I could raise Eveliina as well as Linde had raised Olivia. I got Bam’s coat and helped him into it before I went to go say goodbye to Eveliina.
“Eveliina, kulta, Daddy and Bammi are going out for a bit. We need to get some things for you. Linde will be watching you while we are gone. You have a good time with Linde and Olivia, okay?” She smiled at me and nodded.
I grabbed Bam’s hand and off we went to buy things for my little girl. My little girl, I was starting to like the sound of that.
